A take on Project: Hospital Cheer, the purpose of this project is to create positive affirmations for those in the hospital to assist them during their stay. Please coordinate with the hospital/care center before delivering the cards. Adaptation: deliver the cards to someone at home with a long-term illness.
Remind your local hospital workers (don’t forget sanitation staff/volunteers/receptionists, etc.) that the community is grateful for their expertise and efforts. Be sure to make arrangements with the hospital/office/etc. prior to delivering the cards.
A regular gratitude practice has positive effects on our physical and mental well-being, even when we keep those grateful thoughts private. Journaling is a tool to develop our gratitude muscle!
This project is designed to positively affirm your community. Bonus: Leave space for community members to contribute to the poster.
