CELEBRATE WORLD KINDNESS DAY WITH KM365 & THE BIKINI BLOCK BEACH CLEANUP NOV. 9TH IN DELRAY BEACH
DELRAY BEACH, FL (October 25, 2024) – November 13th is World Kindness Day—a global observance and celebration of humanity that promotes the importance of being kind to ourselves, each other, and the world, encouraging everyone, everywhere, to unite to work towards making the world a better place. In honor of the occasion, we invite you to join Kindness Matters 365 (KM365) and Bikini Block Beach Cleanup for a day of giving back to our local environment at our annual World Kindness Day Beach Cleanup on Saturday, November 9th, in Delray Beach, FL.
The festivities take place on Delray Beach north of the Main Pavilion at Sea Spray Avenue and A1A. The fun kicks off at 8am with an onsite Rock Painting competition, the top ten of which will be awarded a $100 prize, courtesy of event sponsors GL Homes® and Deco Realty Group. At 8:30am, a ceremony will be held to announce the winners of both the Rock Painting competition and Random Acts of Kindness competition, for which anyone can participate in advance for the chance to win a $300 prize to be awarded to the top five most impactful and creative acts, also courtesy of Deco Realty Group. The official Beach Cleanup will run from 8:45–9:45am, with all supplies provided and an official weigh-in to follow. Students who participate can earn community service hours. All participants will be served fruit and water for this day of friendship, community, fun, and unity to protect and preserve our planet.

For those interested in participating in the Random Acts of Kindness contest, please submit a video or written explanation about a random act of kindness you’ve conducted or received, letting us know what it meant and how it impacted the parties involved.
